PRIVATE IN-HOME
TRAINING:
Puppy
Kindergarten: You
will learn everything
that is covered in the group session with the flexibility of working
at your own pace and with personalized training to fit your dogs
specific training needs.
Basic
Obedience:
As
with Puppy Kindergarten you will learn everything that is
covered in the group session but with the flexibility and
convenience of working at your own pace in the environment where
your problems begin. Your training will be personalized to fit your
specific needs.
Behavior
Modification: The
elimination of problems begins with obedience training, however,
sometimes just a session or two targeting your needs, is all that is
required. This program is for owners who are having problems with
their dog, such as aggression, jumping, biting, barking, chewing,
digging and most importantly your dog’s specific
needs
Doggie Tune-Ups: This is great for dogs and owners who have completed
an obedience training course in the past but have gotten a little
rusty! Jenna will evaluate you and your dog together and give
specific instructions for any problems that you may be
having.
Housetraining 101: Are
you at your wit’s end trying to housetrain your dog or puppy? There
is a sure fire way to teach your dog to never eliminate in the
house. Jenna will share invaluable tips and techniques to end this
annoying problem forever. This session is a one time lesson with a
follow up session. The session will last as long as necessary for
you to feel confident in your success.
GROUP
CLASSES:
Puppy Kindergarten:
Socialization
is critical between 8 to 20 weeks in order for your puppy to become a well
adjusted adult. Puppies not properly socialized are more likely to
suffer from aggression, low self confidence, separation anxiety and
are more prone to bite. All puppies from 8 weeks to 4 months should
enroll. This class
consists of 5 one hour lessons where you and your puppy will be
introduced to the wonderful world of obedience training with such
cues as sit, stay, down, come and attention. We will show you how to
stop unwanted behaviors before they become
problems.
Basic Obedience: This
class consists of 7 one hour lessons where you will learn to teach
your dog to pay attention, sit, down, stay, come, off plus many
more. Problem behaviors such as jumping, chewing, digging and most
importantly, your dog’s specific needs, will be covered. Dogs 5 months and up along
with dogs who have completed Puppy Kindergarten, are
eligible.
Manners 101:
This
class is for students that have completed Basic Obedience and are
looking to continue their education. Manners consists of 6 one hour
lessons where we will continue to build on the behaviors you learned
in Basic. We will be pushing your dogs limit and adding tons of
distractions. Expect the unexpected. We will also cover some basic
manners, how to greet a stranger and what to do at doors.
